Privacy Policy
How we handle your personal data when you use o-zo.com or enquire about our service.
Last updated: 23 April 2026
Who we are
O-ZO is a trading style of Prompt Engine Ltd, a limited company registered in England & Wales. We act as the data controller for personal data collected through o-zo.com.
Contact: hello@o-zo.com
What we collect
When you fill in the enquiry form at o-zo.com/contact we collect:
- Business name, type and city
- Your name, email address and mobile phone number
- Any notes or preferences you tell us
- Your consent to be contacted (stored with the enquiry)
- Basic technical information — IP address, browser user-agent, and the page that referred you — logged automatically by the hosting server
If you buy a plan, Stripe collects the payment details directly — we do not see or store your card number.
Why we use it (legal basis)
- To respond to your enquiry and deliver the service — performance of a contract you have asked us to enter into.
- To call or text you about your enquiry — the consent you give when you tick the consent box on the form.
- To verify your phone number (one SMS with a 6-digit code) — legitimate interest in preventing spam and fake enquiries.
- To keep business records — legal obligation (accounting, tax).
Who we share it with
We use a small number of third-party processors who help us run the service:
- Stripe — payment processing. stripe.com/privacy
- Twilio — sending the phone-verification SMS and, once you are a customer, any service SMS. twilio.com/legal/privacy
- Google — we may use Google Places public data to help pre-fill photos and reviews on your website with your permission.
- Our hosting provider — runs the servers that host o-zo.com and deliver the enquiry email to us.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertising networks.
Where your data is held
Our servers are hosted in the United Kingdom. Some processors (Stripe, Twilio, Google) operate in the United States. When personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, those transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards that keep your data protected.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become customers — deleted after 90 days.
- Customer records — kept for the duration of the contract plus 6 years afterwards, to meet UK accounting and tax requirements.
- Server access logs — rotated within 30 days.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- See a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your data (where we don't have a legal reason to keep it)
- Stop using your data for a particular purpose
- Port your data to another provider
- Withdraw consent — just reply "STOP" to any SMS or email us at the address below
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@o-zo.com. If you aren't happy with our response you can complain to the UK's data-protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office.
Cookies
o-zo.com does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. The site may set a small number of essential cookies required for page delivery (for example, if you log in to the admin area). No third-party analytics run on the public site.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data we will update the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced to existing customers by email.
